Departing from the beach front helipad in Paihia your flight heads across the bay to Russell with views to Opua before tracking along the stunning peninsula coastline to Cape Brett and it's lighthouse where you will experience an exciting turn to fly around the Hole in the Rock.

The return portion of the flight flies directly over the main islands of the area with birds eye views of their white sandy beaches, inviting turquoise waters and some of the luxurious private residences.

Coming into land you will fly past the Waitangi Treaty grounds and Paihia township. If you would like to land on top of the Hole in the Rock then check out the other "flight seeing" options on our site.

How do we know which Helicopter will be used?

This is decided by the operations manager on the day, for small groups of up to 3 persons then it is usually the Robinson 44, but if others are book you may fly in the larger Bell Longranger helicopter with others.

Is it safe and are we insured?

Like any type of transport, there is always a small risk, but this is a professional company, fully licensed by the NZ Civil Aviation Authority. and they hold full public liability insurance.

Can we bring extra persons on the day?

You may bring additional persons on the day but there is no guarantee that there will be room, so we do suggest you contact us at least 2 hours in advance to check availability.
